Don't Let Go

“Don’t Let Go”

“Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.”  Hebrews 10:35

If there is one thing we need today, that would be confidence.  Confidence in this scripture  means boldness, out-spokenness and bluntness.  People who are confident can come across as  arrogant and cocky.  Yet the fact is they are just sure of themselves, and there is no hesitation in their speech or actions.  That is good if you have something or someone to back you up.  Truth is, if you are a Christian, all heaven will back you up when you stand boldly and confidently on the promises of God.

Second Chronicles 16:9a says, “For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.”  God is attentive to what is going on in the earth.  He is not sitting on His throne in heaven doing nothing.  This scripture says that He is looking throughout the earth for someone He can show Himself strong for.  God wants to render aid and support to those who are fully committed to Him.  When you know that the God you serve is ready to back you up, you have every reason to be bold and confident in speech and actions.  Don’t be afraid to declare the word of God in a matter.  It does not make a difference what the situation is.  You have His word that He will come to your aid and support you.  So, don’t you shrink back, and don’t you let go of your confidence in the word of God.  Because in the end, your reward will be great.
